the book I use for these offerings post is a desk calendar from 2004, and weekends get one quote - which lets me go out and find something on the topics it discusses from elsewhere. so I enjoyed using HDT this morning for the 'offering.'

moving at bazilliongillion miles an hour.....

so - it's question month. I had a couple of people ask why I wasn't "playing" either as a question asker or a answer provider - - I just have other things going on. :) I've been working my ass off and not had a whole lot of time for Livejournal - and didn't want to start taking questions - and then leave them unanswered. Talk about rude! :) I might have time to get back to it later. I'm working 60 hours this week - on projects that are design-by-committee (e.g. the work equivalent of having your teeth pulled without anesthetic.) Larry and Victor are coming to dinner tonight - the board game boys are coming over tomorrow for Frittata-age - then Dave and I will spend the rest of the weekend celebrating our second anniversary - starting with a romantic dinner at our favorite French restaurant (Bistro Elan in Palo Alto) - then Sunday we will spend blissfully away from the internet (for the most part!). I get my Mini Cooper back today - with a brand new transmission - in fact I'm picking the MuffinMobile^tm up from the mechanic as soon as I get off the train in a ten minutes or so! :) (yay!³) so - I'm just super busy.
