But the awful truth is, our civil values haven't changed much since the Victorian days. It's perfectly OK for a politician to take bribes, start wars for the corporations who sponsor them, and kill millions of humans in the process.
Not one fundy raises an eyebrow. It's patriotic.
But...Touch someones foot in a restroom? Oh, off with his head!
