well - the main difference li'l guy? is how I'm approaching the time with David. He's not without faults or some "little red flags"... but he's adorable, sensitive and we're opposite enough of one another that we're bringing out different things in each other. :) time will tell. I am trying very very hard to live in the now. and enjoy THIS moment - and the moments we shared this weekend - - and not feel like I'm purchasing "mental" china - and taking the "us" somewhere in my head that we haven't discussed or experienced in person. I am working to make our dating and courtship different than the ways I've handled it in the past.

he is a research fellow at the Palo Alto Research Center and specializes in "environmental math" or the theories and mathematical equations behind environmental problems or theories. He's been very sweet and "unmathspeaked" some of it for me. but needless to say - intensely brainy stuff!
