We (all of us) had gone to the market to get stuff for dinner. Bennett insisted on buying some bok choy, and preparing it for dinner, even though ...
(a) It wasn't a good match with the other dishes, and ... (b) He had no ideal what the hell to do with it.
He got *very* argumentative. I remember that vividly.
To this day I have no idea what brought that on, even after having untangled some of his other weirdness (and a good deal of mine, which was the main project).
