The time has come for new Reeboks. These tennie-runners have been my primary shoes for a year.

I went to take them off this afternoon and the sole of the left shoe came off. A true sign from the cosmos that new Reeboks are required. Because I tend to wear shoes until they are totally dead - - I prefer Reeboks because the Reebok "Classic" in white leather is always available.

So I'll be off to Foot Locker to grab a new pair o'Reeboks tomorrow.

Ran into Istvan scotsailor and Tommy notdefined at the gym tonight while working with the best workout buddy ever^tm Michael bibliocub. Tonight was shoulders and back, a muscle group we seem to always find an excuse not to be at the gym to excercise. So we worked it a bit tonight - and I'm glad we did. I feel great! We also did our commiserate sets of leg lifts and bicycles - - how else are we going to become bare chest calendar models without work! We also treated ourselves to protein drink fruit smoothies afterwards which was a nice treat. He had a "green" smoothie that he decided looked like fresh pesto vomit. Sounds delicious... I had a raspberry juice drink that well looked like a raspberry juice drink. LOL!

The workday today was a long haul - getting everything accomplished and posted on time. The classical station launched it's 2nd annual Classical Star Search today. It's a video based audition process - where listeners in two categories (10-21, 21 and over) submit two minute auditions - then the judges pick ten finalists in each category (next month) and we do the voting on line - then three finalists are chosen in each category - and we vote again. The three finalists each get to perform on stage May 11th at the Conservatory of Music. (Oak and Vanness) So this morning was writing the php to get that all ready to go - I'm proud to say it wasn't cobbled together - that I actually knew what I was coding. Then we launched to big contests on the country station ("Taylor Swift At Your HighSchool" and "Hosting the Morning Show with Jessica Simpson"). Both contests are a lot of work to put together - but we got it all finished and posted on time. and KOIT is due for it's website makeover in the next couple of weeks. No rest for the wicked, right? wowsers!
