Off to the doctor this morning to get my blood drawn for HIV counts, cholesterol and other "nowthatI'moverfourty" blood tests. We're also going to discuss a mole on my face that has, since Christmas, decided to get bigger. My guess is that we'll schedule an appointment to burn/freeze it off my face. That will be fun. As often as I am at the doctor between everyday stuff, HIV and being a cancer survivor - I never have relaxed and just gone with the flow. I hate having blood drawn and I just HATE needles of any sort. so its a necessary evil.

Daylight savings time is messing with my morning person persona! I'm fine waking up early if there is sun on my window - but this temporary return to waking up in the dark really messes me up. Miss Kate has also reacted by snuggling in on my pillow and going back to sleep after I get up to shower - and not jumping down off the bed till walkies time. Soon, though - it'll be light real early and we'll both be up early by habit. I love how quiet the city is on morning walkies.... sure the buses come by and the taxis are sprinting around looking for that morning fare. I drink my morning coffee out of my ohmygodthatshuge commuter cup and Miss Kate is out on Sniffpatrol.tm Miss Kate came into my life eight going on nine years ago - and she turned me into a morning person. If I think about it - some of my best habits have come to light as a result of having the goddess in my life everyday. It's pretty darn awesome!

okay - now more delay - I'm off to the vampire.... chow!

You could try getting a pole light or a wall washer lamp, adding a suitable lightbulb (rose/pink? daylight balanced? Gro-Lux?), and, putting it on a timer set to go off a bit earlier in the morning.

Thank you for being the first to say why some people are having difficulty with the time change. I truly had no idea what the problem was.

I didn't know you're a cancer survivor. The others on my flist are apparently a bit more vocal about it. :)

Mornings are definitely my time of day, too. It's quiet, peaceful and so nourishing to me. Good luck at the Vamps!

Testicular Cancer in 1998 - dreadful experience but I lived to tell about it.

I wouldn't say "yenta" - more my dependable adventure companion. :)
