This morning in San Francisco, it is sunny but only 45 degrees - we're at roughly HALF the temperature it was here just this past Monday. That is just plain crazy - to sweat to death one day and then need the heat on when you get up two days later.
This morning while walking Miss Kate I had a very scary albeit more embarrassing than anything fall. She launched after a squirrel super fast and I was not really paying too close attention - and I was standing on wet pavement. When she yanked - I did a full 180 in the air landing with my shoulder first in a concrete planter and my hip on the sidewalk. All in the view of cars qued up for morning rush hour traffic at Polk and Hayes street. I half expected people to show signs like judges at gymnastics competitions. Impacts like that really hurt - and I'm limping a little (i think my ankle didn't like it much either) - - but I don't think there is any permanent damage at all. Deciding not to tempt fate any further - I'm working from home today.
Big country western show coming June 17th as 95.7 The Wolf hosts it's third annual "GUITARS AND STARS" acoustic guitar show at the Filmore Theater. The lineup will be announced Monday - it's going to be huge!
Serious work on the new book last night - I was up till around midnight working and typing. I am so glad I took some dialogue courses and did some more reading and researching this round - I'm really proud of how things are developing.

Date: 2009-04-24 05:31 pm (UTC)You are lucky that you can work from home. My boss says I can do it, at least in theory, but when an actual situation comes up, she always comes up with "reasons" for me to make the trek in, but she can do it at least one day a week. Hmmm.
