I Dined Out For Life!

Tonight was my second year as restaurant ambassador at Sauce restaurant in SF. Trip and his brothers - along with his entire staff - are a great joy to work with. David, Jeffery and the Adora-Michaels were along for dinner. Dave and I split the butter fish special (a beautiful thick cut of simply prepared fish - it melted in your mouth) - and the bacon wrapped meatloaf in mushroom sauce. It was all tremendous - we shared a trio of desserts and then the boys headed home and I continued to work the restaurant for donations. My feet and back finally said ENOUGH! at 10pm - and I rushed home - ran my night's winnings for Stop AIDS project up to their house on 14th street and now I'm home. STOP AIDS Project is such an amazing organization - I'm so glad they work this event every year. They don't do the money count until Monday - so I won't know if I won - but my folks at Sauce were in a giving mood - I'd say 98% of the people out were specifically out for the event. I hope I break my $2000 mark from last year. Dave, Jeffery and The Michaels gave very generously. I'm lucky to have such great friends and such a great boyfriend.

I'm a big fan of Stop AIDS Project, even from this distance, so well done Robert. (And not just because the cutest prevention worker ever - downshifft - works there.)
