thoreauwell - the techjob went to someone who could start immediately. I just got the phone call. The client that Tekssystems was hiring for chose another canidate simply because I would have to give two weeks notice. They apparently have three or four other positions in the pipeline; and interestingly enough - one other consulting firm contacted me today.
It was a good learning process - and they have great references - etc. and I've basically been greenlighted by my current job to get out and find a new one. so nothing really "lost" here. but its a teensy bit frustrating that my being employed and having to give two weeks notice was the eliminating criteria.
