Yesterday David and I took the day off and took our houseguest, Doug - to Muir Woods and Mt. Tamalpais. It was a great treat - and a great way to end Doug's visit. :) He flies home to New Jersey this afternoon.

Two things were particularly wonderful, 1) that Dave and I got out in the outdoors and actually used some of that vacation stuff we earn for something lovely like this - and 2) I could show Doug one of my favorite places in the whole world.
