So today Miss Kate got a nice salonstyle brushing and a new collar - red is the color all the fashionable terrier goddesses are wearing 2010. :) and - we gave her her new dragon. Miss Kate takes her toys very personally - and very seriously.
in 2007 - it was Gingerbread Man:

and in 2008/2009 it was the green dragon (gifted to her by
coryblank):

and 2010 is the year of the blue dragon:

as with most toys she'll be inseparable from - she's eying it carefully - seeing if its a toy worth adopting. and not all toys cut the mustard. She's a picky doggy!
So the blue dragon with its longer tail is in its probationary period. The long tail is an upgrade in the new line of dragons - once she learns to swing it by it's tail - all sorts of doggy chaos will ensue!
She truly LOVED gingerbread man - and was viscous and downright cruel to the green dragon - but always brought it to me when it needed stitches or an infusion of fluff in the pet toy triage unit.

The blue dragon is waiting patiently in the living room - waiting to earn its place in the Pantheon of Pet Toys. It's a legacy worth waiting patiently for.
These toys are all GoDogfun.com toys - with ChewGuard technology. They are AMAZING - the average toy? lasts a couple of days before it is gutted/destroyed everywhere in a crime scene of fluff.
"Chew Guard Technologyâ„¢ is a proprietary manufacturing process that adds a super tough, durable liner to every toy. The Chew Guard lining was specially engineered to withstand the daily rigors of a dog's play. Dogs are tough but Chew Guard is tougher! All seams are double stitched and reinforced as well. Chew Guard Technology toys should stand up to your toughest chewers."
Miss Kate chews and destroys lesser toys - but she really has a relationship with her Godog toys... they are amazing friends.
