Dropped Dave off at the airport this morning at 530AM - he's off to an ubermath conference in Atlanta until Thursday. I took Miss Kate to Ocean Beach up in the city and we had a sunrise walk along the ocean then a lite breakfast.

Then I drove us down Skyline Drive and we did a little hike up in the foggy trees.
Then I wound down the foothills into Palo Alto - and back home.

Now? Laundry! Loud Jazz! and streaming a football game on ESPN. :)

later? touring a new gym that just opened in downtown Palo Alto - to see about spinning classes and a few other exercise options I can't get with my home workouts.

then - a restful quiet day.... a short week! Brett septimuswarren arrives Thursday night for a quick visit on his way to a education conference - then Dave returns and then he and I are off to Portland for the A/C Square Dance Fly in weekend. My first event as a square dance widow!!
