I used to have fiery intensity and a flowing sweetness,
The waters were illusion. The flames, made of snow.
Was I dreaming then? Am I awake now?"
- Rumi -

After the uber-intense day yesterday (waking at 6am obsessing about the KDFC launch; getting home around 7:30pm last evening..... I sat in the sunshine in the park with Miss Kate - and read my book (Rumi: A Spiritual Biography by Leslie Wines). I came back to the house - and had a glass of Port with some cheese and fruit and cuddled on the couch with Miss Kate. and then woke up there about 2am. LOL! Miss Kate had that "I don't know what happened to the grapes and cheese - don't be lookin' at me" look on her face. I gave her a big smile and picked her up and took her to bed. We were soon fast asleep all cuddled up in bedzilla.

My work hours have been moved forward to 9am to 6pm. It REALLY frees up my mornings. So now I can wake up at a reasonable hour - 630am - and I'm at the gym by 7am - 20 minutes of cardio - then my 6 machines o' the day - then home to shower - then walk Miss Kate while enjoying my nonfat mocha from Bean There. The staff at BT see me coming and have my latte made up as I reach the counter - and $3.20 later - I'm walking Miss Kate in Duboce Park. Then I catch the 840am N line - and start my day at 9am.

It was nice to walk in to a good selection of listener/user emails this morning applauding the new website. (and being nice enough to show some places it needs tweaked) KDFC listeners are extremely interactive - and I'm just excited to have this new project launched. Today I need to program and design and test the new "DJ Blogs" - so we can launch those Monday of next week.

Nothing earthshattering today - just nice to report that I'm feeling good - and that things are going really well. It's nice to get back to a lowdrama, highhappiness place.

Tonight afterwork - I'm having dinner with and catching up with Woody [livejournal.com profile] nudewoody over seared ahi and some fresh veggies.
