Pastries at the Zoo: Muffin, Bagel and Cheese on a Stick
LOL - was just humming "jolly holiday" from Mary Poppins. Today was Dave's last day in San Francisco - he flies out at 1030pm for his 14 hour flight home.
Today we hit the San Francisco Zoo with David's good friend Kelly - and had a great time.
I took lots and lots of animal photos - full gallery here. Particularly cool was the new bear exhibit, the sea otters and giraffe "savannah". It was a beautiful day - and we had a giggly laughter-filled day out.
I'm going to miss David a lot - he's a sweet wonderful man. He's been an incredible person to meet and spend such quality time with. He's silly, sensitive, smart and disarmingly adorable. I know he and I are going to be friends for a long long time. We're both in such similar spaces - in that wierd - whatthehellisnexttm after the end of relationships. He's also a real good influence and a steady mind to bump things off. He is definitely a keeper. We said several times this weekend - if it weren't for the 7416 mile swim? we'd be sweeping each other off our feet. He has made the last few days a relaxing wonderful - uncomplicatedly blissful time.
