I have Korma'd - and it was darn good.
Nov. 4th, 2007 09:57 pmwowsers, quite the night and party in Bob's Kitchen.

Chicken Korma (an Indian chicken dish with a cream sauce with cloves, cinnamon, cardomon and others yummyness) with farmers market fresh pineapple over Bazmati Rice, Caramelized Summer Squash and Oyster Mushrooms, Yogurt Cucumber Salad, and Oven-Roasted Red Peppers with Goat Cheese.
It was my first foray into Indian cooking - and was a Mr. P challenge - but he couldn't be here tonight. As with all 'first runs' - - I learned what I might do better next time so my 'korma-skills' will only improve. :) but - the crew here - loved it!
I ended up with seven of us for dinner - (boy do I miss having a dishwasher!) - Miss Kate and I had a lovely time entertaining. The crew (including the charming
sfmini) had a wonderful evening sharing stories, adoring the dogs - and enjoying some (if I do say so myself) great food.
My friend Dwight brought a Lemon Meringue pie which we served with a trio of sorbets (fresh homemade lemon - and HaagenDaaz Raspberry and HaagenDaaz Mango).
Everything was most wonderful!

Steve (
sfmini), Dwight, Barbara, Paully, and my neighbors Mike and Mike. (all nonlj!) - taken hastily with the timer.
