news on the roomie front & haiku garages
May. 4th, 2008 01:48 pmI have traded emails most of this week and this weekend with a guy looking for a roomie up on Twin Peaks Boulevard and Carmel Street - right on the 37 Corbett busline at the top of the hill. David, Miss Kate and I are going to meet him there over morning coffee tomorrow morning. I have a real good feeling about this decision - whether I end up taking this particular room or not. Streamlining myself financially is going to lead to some much more secure times comin' right ahead. Yay!
I'm about to pack up fresh laundry and head back to SF. David and I had a lovely breakfast at the diner (he had a yogurt parfait with granola and fresh fruit and I had two eggs with 'cheesy hasbrowns') - - then he took me by the new "haiku" parking structure. In Palo Alto - they built a free public garage - and had a contest for a dozen haikus that were designed as public art. We had another charming handholdy walk home - and then I've been working on client projects - and he's been studying square dancing calls.
