staying cool....
Jun. 20th, 2008 04:52 pm96 degrees in San Francisco! oh my!
I'm hitting the store to make dinner for David and I (who is braving the heat to drive up to the city) - - I'm thinking a tuna salad with fresh bread and big glasses of frothy fruity beverages. You are what you eat after all.
Tomorrow at 1pm - we'll witness Morgan and Tommy tying the knot in Alamo Square. (I'll be the one under the parasol, welting in the heat) then off to find art with Mr. and Mrs.
bibliocub - - Chihuly or Contemporary Jews! Who can choose!?
Then we might wrangle them into doing a picnic dinner somewhere with the dogs - or something. who knows. as long as their smiles and beer is involved - I'm happy!
Sunday - I'll head down to Palo Alto with David to make sure his condo hasn't melted. We'll host David's book club who read "THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON MUSIC" by - which I found esoteric and extremely difficult to read... skimming most of it. I'll be making dessert... not sure what yet. I am thinking chocolate decadence with ganache - - and fresh berries on top. but.. who knows.
I'll be spending the night in Palo with David and braving the inbound commute on Monday.
A week from tomorrow David and I head out on our first quasivacation together to San Simeon and Hearst Castle - while
coryblank turns the muffin penthouse into his guy palace for Pride Weekend in San Francisco. I think everyone will get what they want all the way around. Yay!3
