(friends are forever) run throughs

EXHAUSTIVE! This play is soooo much work in a run-through. and we haven't even added costumes or technical aspects yet. Yikes! tonight was the first real smooth run-through.... where you could really FEEL the story arch - and relax into a little. You can see the director lighting up as we get completely off book and start getting into our characters more and more. My lines aren't perfect yet - but they will be shortly. Now it's down to a little teensy bit of paraphrasing and paragraphs missing sentences. but one more lunch hour studying - and I'm all over it. Folks seeing this play are going to be in for SUCH a treat. Everyone is working REALLY hard. to be at this point still three weeks out from opening? is awesome. because it'll only get tighter - and better from here. we have another FULL week of run-throughs before we add tech and costumes - then a week after that of dress rehearsals and previews before we officially open on the 23rd. Yay!
