Yours truly, Dale (starzinked) and Cory (

Last night at the theater was really something else. 24 co-workers in the audience - (who clapped when I first came out on stage at the beginning! thank goodness its a crowded dance bar and not lines immediately) - and the adorable Cory

From an actor's perspective it was a truly unique audience - almost entirely women. (Most of our audiences have been gay couples or simply large groups of gay men) So last night's show got laughs in entirely new places - and the audience reacted in unique ways. When the lead was particularly venemous - one woman (probably thinking she was talking under her breath) said "what a bitch!" - and it was hard for us on stage to keep in character and not bust out.
Tom Kelly (the playwright) was in the audience last night - and I have to think it was rewarding for him to see the play in front of a different kind of audience as well.
It was WONDERFUL finally meeting Dale - (wow is he handsome!) and seeing him there in the audience with always sparkle-y Cory. I am so blessed with lovely friends. Yay!3
