Well - what do you know!? in the mail this week came a gift for Dave and I of His/Her Squeezit Toothpaste Tube Clips.

LOL!

After reading this post entitled "Tale to Two Tubes" where I detailed David's horror at my misusing of a tube of toothpaste in such an abhorrent catastrophic manner prompting him to ask me if I'd had a "bad toothpaste" moment as a child. Always the observant and friendly guy - - Griz ([livejournal.com profile] grizzlyzone) from Durham came to Dave's rescue by sending Dave and I a salve for our toothpaste tube marital issues.

THANKS GRIZ!

Below you'll see spokesmodel Dave modeling the Squeezit Tube Clips. When I said "Smile Dave - you look so serious." - his deadpan answer was - "Well this is toothpaste and the proper use of the tube, it is serious business!"

Griz - thanks for the laugh - Dave loves them! It totally makes my day - and as usual, I get the pink clip. LOLz!

The Adorabears met Brian, David and I for dinner tonight - and here were all are out for ice cream after. (l to r [livejournal.com profile] sfleatherbear, [livejournal.com profile] bjarvis, [livejournal.com profile] bibliocub, [livejournal.com profile] low_fat_muffin and my adorable dashing boyfriend Dave. Dave and I split a sundae with blood orange sorbet and chocolate ice cream sprinkled with carmalized graham crackers - - it was quite wonderful. Brian and Mike G. had brownie sundaes - and his Levyness had a split of caramel ice cream and roasted banana ice cream.

We had great laughs, talked much square dance drama (which sounded oddly like the teacher in Peanuts comics, wah wah wah square dance wahh wah wah wah drama), and had lots of laughs. It was lovely to help Brian celebrate his birthday. He is every bit as funny as Kent and Michael say he is. really! stop laughing! no - I mean it! We took a stroll after ice cream and put Brian on a train back to his Foster City peninsula hotel - and now we're home reading and relaxing. I love friends nights out like this one - it was wonderful!
