there are three factors that govern how I eat:
1) Weight Watchers beat portion control into my soul and I find that even without "monitoring" I'm eating within my daily points numbers without tracking them. Salads and veggies are my friends!
2) I look tons-o-sexier in the mirror (to me anyways) as I continue to convert fat to muscle. and well,
3) Dave likes having a "big strong hunky boyfriend" to brag about - and shut down the guys in the brilliant mathematician club with "trophy big breasted blond girlfriends." Apparently at lunch in the cafeteria - "big strong hunky boyfriend" wins everytime. So Yay! (at least he says so - which is very sweet)

That said.... I am unable to resist - once a quarter? to bake off a box of breaded gorton's fish filets. These fish "fillets" are something my Mom would make as a kid and I would scarf them down with glee. It is the one food that I can't resist revisiting.
2 filets have 12g of fat (no
transfat though), 500mg of sodium and 240 calories. so if I have 4 - its nearly 500 calories (or half my daily allowance). It's a tough choice.
I do make sure I have a serving of veggies with them - today? Steamed Broccoli! (minus the cheeseathon thats going on in this picture that I ganked off google images to the right)
but - I will often avoid the frozen section just so these don't end up in my cart every single time I'm in the store.
While I've been able to successfully kick snack crackers, anything but lowfat cheese, ice cream, and cookies - - truly I can say no and not pout! but baked breaded fish forms? BRING IT!
