Dave is off to the doctor tomorrow for a colonoscopy - - and can't eat tonight or tomorrow morning. so he asked me to cook him up something special to have when he gets home tomorrow. I made a tomato goulash with spicy sausage, turkey and chicken (frozen leftovers of each) - and put all fresh spices in it from the aerogarden and some rice. I turned the heat off of the pot and covered it before heading to my make-up piano lesson and when I got home - the entire house smelled like goulash. Poor Dave - having to sit in a house that smells like good food when he can't eat. So now I'm off to Whole Foods to get some baquette for him to have with it. and he's the classic guy - - he asked me to write out the directions of how to serve it up and microwave it for. as well as where the cheese is to sprinkle on the top. I will also add a note where the bread knife is. He's so friggin adorable in the kitchen! :) LOL! I wish I could be here to watch him follow the instructions and use the microwave. :) (chortle) I love taking care of my guy!
