Dave is prepping for another exciting morning of dancing - and I'm sipping coffee.

One thing we learned this trip - as our sleep schedules pretty much aligned is that Dave is ready to go for breakfast the nanosecond his feet hit the floor. Which is a role reversal when I need quiet time when I first get up - and rarely eat that immediately. Usually - I get up 6 or so - and have 2-3 hours of quiet around the house and out walking Miss Kate before Dave wakes up. but here - without Miss Kate jumping up to join us... I have slept a bit later - which means I've gotten great rest on this trip. :) I will have to learn to fend for myself on these trips a bit better - as David is quite serious about dancing and not socializing much. Socializing is apparently only part of the game plan at the national convention; not at a fly in. :) There must be a square dance widow handbook somewhere. (giggle)

I'm headed downstairs to have breakfast with [livejournal.com profile] pdxchuck and his partner, Marty here in a bit. I will enjoy a unrushed breakfast while the dancers file past to get that last tip in before the day is done.

It's raining out - and (because I don't have to live any longer in days upon days of rain) its romantic and makes me remember my years living in Seattle and Bellingham in Washington. (eons ago!)

had a delightful breakfast with Chuck and Marty this morning!

BTW - Marty just published his first novel, BY A THREAD - Check it out here. A political thriller with a gay mormon protagonist!

They are just adorable as a pair --- always good to meet new LJ friends! YAY!3

two Red Heirloom and one Golden Harvest Cherry Tomato Seed Pods

I replanted my AeroGarden this evening - - so now it is all about Cherry Tomatoes! First sprouts should be visible in week one - growing to full tomato plants. The first harvest should be (approx.) the first week in December! YAY!
