Bob on the left, Drew on the right. :) Busy day here in Houston - Drew had to run into work this morning - so David and I are going to hit the beauty chamber and freshen up - and then we'll take a car trip around the city hitting "the waterwall" and The Rothko Chapel - - and then Drew is hosting an afternoon cocktail party for friends this afternoon; then dinner with a smaller group afterwards. It should be a good time! (Mango Fizzys are going to be introduced to the Houston Crowd!)

Had a wonderful day here in Houston with Drew - he took us to the amazing Gerald Hines Water Wall Park. (flick set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/thoreau_in_boise/sets/72157625276757436/)

We also spent quality time at the Rothko Chapel and Byzantine Chapel - which are both stunning contemporary spaces.

then we came back here and Drew hosted a lovely party - including some of my friends that live here in Houston - and David and Darrell (who somehow escaped being photographed) - and Cason and Julia.

After everyone left we went out for a quiet dinner and then a nice walk around the neighborhood after. :) and now - to quote lpbear - we are experiencing "floppage" or quiet time. :)

So far - it's been an excellent trip.
