I am excited to be getting OUT of the city this weekend. Miss Kate - the wonder terrier - and I will get up early and head out. We're stopping by to see Boian and Ken in San Rafael for breakfast - then Highway 1 up through Marshall and Tomales - through Freestone - to Jerry and Paul's in Sebastapol for their annual Lazy Bear Pool Party. 40-50 men laying around the pool all day. These boys throw amazing parties. There will be lots of dogs and woofy guys and frisbee and pool games. I am very excited. I'll spend the night there - then head into Guerneville to the actual Lazy Bear event on Sunday morning - finding my friends David and Tom for breakfast - and meeting up with Trey at the Sunday Pool Party across from Fife's then home later that afternoon. I've loaded my iPod with hours of jazz and classical - with an experiment musically to go an entire weekend (at least in the Waldenmobile) of music with no words. So upbeat classical and instrumental jazz for the entire trip.
