Kateydog is out of the woods...

I am just back from the doctor's office with Miss Kate - and he has proclaimed her "on the way to a full recovery." Considering where we were just two days ago? it's amazing - even the staff at the doctor's office was amazed. I can start to give her water this evening at 6pm - then she will start on ten days of cottage cheese and white rice tomorrow - starting with a nibble and working up to a 1/2 a cup - then a cup of rice by Monday a day. She's already showing signs of sniffing and being back to normal Kateydom - - it's all pretty amazing - her recovery just in the past day has been nothing short of totally remarkable. I'm so pleased - as I'm sure Kateydog is too. She'll be sleeping up on the bed with me tonight - and I'm working with my daytime dogwalker to make sure she gets all the TLC she needs.
