I have Korma'd - and it was darn good.
Nov. 4th, 2007 09:57 pmwowsers, quite the night and party in Bob's Kitchen.

Chicken Korma (an Indian chicken dish with a cream sauce with cloves, cinnamon, cardomon and others yummyness) with farmers market fresh pineapple over Bazmati Rice, Caramelized Summer Squash and Oyster Mushrooms, Yogurt Cucumber Salad, and Oven-Roasted Red Peppers with Goat Cheese.
It was my first foray into Indian cooking - and was a Mr. P challenge - but he couldn't be here tonight. As with all 'first runs' - - I learned what I might do better next time so my 'korma-skills' will only improve. :) but - the crew here - loved it!
I ended up with seven of us for dinner - (boy do I miss having a dishwasher!) - Miss Kate and I had a lovely time entertaining. The crew (including the charming
sfmini) had a wonderful evening sharing stories, adoring the dogs - and enjoying some (if I do say so myself) great food.
My friend Dwight brought a Lemon Meringue pie which we served with a trio of sorbets (fresh homemade lemon - and HaagenDaaz Raspberry and HaagenDaaz Mango).
Everything was most wonderful!

Steve (
sfmini), Dwight, Barbara, Paully, and my neighbors Mike and Mike. (all nonlj!) - taken hastily with the timer.

Date: 2007-11-10 09:10 am (UTC)I'm posting a comment in here to this entry of yours, because DWIGHT is there! You know DWIGHT!!!!!!
I started talking to Dwight probably about 6 years ago on ICUii or ISPQ, and have exchanged e-mails, and even chatted on the phone! I knew he had moved to SFO, but I didn't know that he knew YOU - or vice versa!
You will SOOOOOO have to say "Hello" to him for me, and give him a great big hug from me!
