a day - and a friendship - to be thankful for.....

Mr. P and I had a magical day yesterday driving around in the fall sunshine - we visited and hiked around Mt. Tam - drove up the ridge to Pt. Reyes - then back through the Samuel Taylor Redwoods - - then stopped at Mel's Diner on Geary for a tremendously fun Turkey Dinner (one of Eric's traditions) - - and then relaxed at my place and watched the movie 'Everything Is Illuminated'. 'Nif!

Photo Highlights from Yesterday's MiniTrip^tm - one thing you'll notice is the "Hearts of San Francisco" Minicar we were driving. My car is in for service - and this subtle little mini is the loaner they gave me. We waved like royalty all day long in our unique little car. LOL!

Friendships like the one I share with Eric don't come along everyday. It's a blessing.

I drive (normally) a fiesta red mini with a white roof. but it's in for service. the hearts are a ceramic heart set - they put around the city. It really was a hoot!

Those are beautiful pictures, and I am happy you had a great holiday. It was tough for us being away this Thanksgiving, but we are spending Thanksgiving with our friends tomorrow - so that will be lots of fun.
