me and dogs and coffee
Jan. 17th, 2008 08:47 amso - this morning - while getting my drip coffee across the street. because somehow going across the street makes the coffee taste better than making it here at CasaMuffintm the owner of the coffeeshop stops me. A few weeks back on a lark - I left her a note - with links to my picasa web photo galleries - and asked if she'd let me get some of my photos printed up and framed - and show them in the coffeeshop. Now - I'm not a professional photographer by ANY means. I'm no
ruralrob at all. But - she stops me this morning - and says - "how about - we put up posters and invite people to bring their dogs to Bean There - you shoot photos - then we create a show here of your photos of dogs and their owners enjoying coffee at Bean There; then we use Cafe Press or something and create a coffee table book of the photos we show plus others to sell here at the cafe? We'd call it "Bean There with my Dog" or something like that. think about it."
I'm sorta stunned. What a neat sounding project!

Date: 2008-01-17 04:48 pm (UTC)I like it!!
Might we bring Rachel and Nigel? Be sure to do this on a warm day, or at least one that it is not raining. It would even be cool to have poems or prose or some insightful expression printed on the photos.
