Off to New Orleans in the morning for five days of a working vacation. I'm so excited - I have never been there. I'm staying with Ron and Mark in the French Quarter - actually "Marigny (mahr-rih-nee) Triangle." I'll be taking gabillion pictures and posting the highlights. I'll be working with a Ron to help his business get off the ground on the web - and touring around with Mark (as he's a self described obsessed historian.) Mark and Ron are the penultimately cute gay couple - they are perfectly suited for one another.

6am flight - so I'll be up and out early - - - but - I'll be in New Orleans by 3pm. Yay!3

Be sure to wander across Elysian Fields to American Aquatic gardens for some plant goodness (and checking out the help). We lived in the Triangle for years before selling 5 rentals there and heading east to the beach. From ghetto to gayborhood was a real trip. :D
Have fun.

We was just talkin' over dinner tonight about where to go for vacation in '09 and New Orleans came up. None of us have ever been there . . .

There is something magical about New Orleans. There are Paul Prudhomme's restaurants. If you get a chance, have a dinner at Bayona Restaurant. Bacco was also nice. The Court of Two Sisters was way pricey but the food was good.

Now I'm really envious.

I've been to many Mardi Gras, even more Southern Decadences, and even a Halloween. The French Quarter holds so many incredible memories for me. I have no doubt you will fall in love with it.

They're the "penultimately cute gay couple"? Wouldn't that mean they are the second-to-cutest? Then who is the cutest!?
