I went over to Tom's house tonight and helped read through his new play. It was really fun - reading an early work like that. It was ENTIRELY dialogue - very fast - very witty and will be a gay audience FAVE when it's worked out. I played "steve" a porn obsessed sex addict - who competes with his boyfriend for how many tricks they can turn. I brought dessert (White chocolate mousse with fresh raspberries) - for intermission. It was a lot of fun to put my foot in the water into theater stuff again. Tom has a play coming up at The New Contemporary Theater and teaches writing there. In tonight's cast were some of his favorite actors and directors. So it was a nice time.

Now I'm sitting here in bed with Miss Kate chatting online with bukephalus....
