This morning - it was "move up a level" in my realjock.com workouts. I printed out the new excercises and read through the materials, watched the video demos for form and was all set, and honestly, excited to move to the "next" thing.

NOWHERE in the materials does it say "after doing this the first day your entire body will hurt like it never has before." meh. I started aching as fast as the morning shower. Now - at work - particularly my arms and lower legs - are on FIRE.

I took some ibuprofen. and am thanking god that tomorrow is Katey Dog Adventure Wednesdaytm and Jeff's ([livejournal.com profile] beg1n) natal anniversary. I have visions of some gay workout writer writing and thinking to himself - "wait till these queens try the medicine ball sit-ups..muahahahahahahaha..."

When I leave for the gym every morning - I turn to Miss Kate and say "I'll be back in a bit sweetheart - Mommy is off to the gym to get beautiful." Today - beauty=pain. So - when I get on to day 2 of the new workout on Thursday - I'll be gentler on myself.

Since I've been dating a mathematician - I've been (shudder) trying to be mathematical and engage him story problems. Robert drinks five gatorades before.... His answer to most of my theoreticals is "quantify that." I was considering myself all smart when I suggested that in a relationship - we could "solve for K" (kissability) - with a variety of formulas. but first, apparently - we have to quantify "what is kissability?" I thought we could research the math behind why he and I sleep so well together (e.g. velcro) and the answer is "what is sleep?" Apparently - people who study math need absolutes and clear definitions of things - in order to engage in mathematical research. So clearly there will be no scientific math surrounding our relationship together. LOL! It is clearly UNQUANTIFIABLE! (and I'm certifiable - but that's entirely different equation)
