apartment update

well - David and I went by this morning and looked at the apartment on Twin Peaks. Quite frankly - it's amazing. The room I'd rent has a stunning view over the back of Twin Peaks Golden Gate Park and the Golden Gate Bridge. The roommate seemed like a real nice guy - and provided me a couple of references to check (former roomies, etc.). The price is perfect - and David said to me on our way back to drop off Miss Kate (the roomie asked to meet her; and of course, LOVED HERE) "We could keep looking - but honestly - are you going to find anything better than what we just looked at?"?
It's a top floor apartment at the top of 17th street - with a bright kitchen and living room - and a small deck with a lovely couch sitting area looking down the hill into the Castro. The only bummer is sharing a bathroom - but hey - that's part of having roommates right? I'm going to sleep on it - but think I'll prolly run them over a deposit check tomorrow for a May 30th move in.

the sectional - my neighbors are already offering to buy it from me. as much as I love it - I need to downsize and the couch must go. the kitchen stuff - I'll see what the roomies need/don't need. but honestly - I don't have THAT much stuff. Clothes is where I'll really need to get rid of the bulk of my wardrobe mostly because I have drawers of clothes that are now too big for me.

well - the Michaels next door are negotiating with me to purchase it. As much as I've loved the couch - its HUGEOMONGOUS - and it won't be moving with me. and they have always coveted it.
