Well - this morning I was chatting with David while making us breakfast - I'd seasoned six whipped eggs and biscuits were baking in the oven - and I reached for the half and half and while talking - poured a 1/2 cup or so into the eggs. UGH - it reeked and had gone horribly bad. OHNOZ! I just destroyed breakfast. :( so - we waited for the drop biscuits to come out - set them on the stovetop and went out for breakfast.
After - we scooted up the hill to meet Ellen and her pug Isky. They are renting a motherinlaw in their basement thats perfect. It is in the shadow of the radiotower at twin peaks and is the same room I have now - but I'd share the kitchen upstairs with her. She said she had two other folks she was showing it to today; but we do the same thing for a living (albeit she's in advertising design not in radio). Both David and I really liked the space - and Kateydog got along real well with Isky. It's up the hill from the Forest Hill Muni Station - which would be an entirely new neighborhood to learn - but I'm cautiously optimistic.
Then I took David downtown for a tour fo the studios and my office - then we strolled around downtown - spent some time browsing at Stacey's books (me in the photoshop magazine section; he in the math books) then we got a soda at a cafe downtown - (a new brand called "GUS" or "Grown Up Soda" - pomegranate flavor). Then we stopped at Golden Produce and picked up fixings for a Taco Salad -a nd a few other ingredients at Safeway - - and now we're loafing. Yay for sunny afternoons loafing.
Tonight - we're taking our neighbor Angelina - to her drag show since their truck is in the shop. then perhaps down to the Powerhouse for a beer in our leathers. :) (woof - David in chaps is just too darned hot)
thats all for now. (huggage!)
