here is the view from the new apartment - Jeff (beg1n), David and I went by to take a look - take pics and measure.

the Castro and Twin Peaks (left) - the Haight and Western Addition (center) - bottom right is the Civic Center (Davies Symphony Hall, The Herbst Theater, The Opera, and of course, our beautiful city hall) - and then upper right the top of the Golden Gate bridge and Nob Hill.

Now you can totally understand why when I saw the apartment and could save $$ - I said "where do I sign!?"

actually - its all going to fit perfectly. I am selling couchzilla in the living room to the neighbors - and I just got back from taking about 1/2 my clothes (minus some jeans I'm going to mail off) to the thrift store. I could NOT be more excited - I'm going to love this new place.
