Kateydog Adventure Wednesday!

thoreauKatey's Uncle Tony, Kateydog and I hit Crissy Field beach at 630am for a walk to the Golden Gate and back.... amazing clear morning with a hint of fog on the bay. BYOUTIFUL!
Tony and I had a really cool conversation about "what is art?" and how he felt that college taught him that art was something only to be discussed by the rich and affluent. I totally disagreed and we had a really awesome discussion. We each had very different perspectives on the role of art in our lives - and where we think it should be in the social consciousness. I see it as a sociological record of our times - and sees it as - only those with inherent talent will survive (or inherent funding). It was a great way to start the day.
Katey met a Golden Retriever named Max that she was clearly smitten with.... and sniffed every inch of beach parking lot to the bridge and back. :)
it was really wonderful all the way around....
