thoreauWalking Miss Kate this morning before heading to the gym and in our 20 minute stroll in Civic Center plaza - several dozen news vans and trucks with satellite dishes arrived. I had no idea what a great news story a 40 year old fag and his terrier would make! They all rushed to get set up and aim their dishes at the sky and make sure the angle is right so they could get Miss Kate and I with City Hall in the background. Apparently gay couples are going to get married here later or something like that - but it was fun to have a "when I bite into a york peppermint patty" moment and fantasize that they were there to meet Miss Kate and I on our morning walk.
Congrats to any LJers who are in the group today that is getting married. I know I'm excited about Tommy and Morgan's Alamo Park nuptials next Saturday. Perhaps Jack and Steve will get back in the news again with fresh footage! :) It's going to very cool.
