Waiting on the kitchen table when Kateydog and I returned from the weekend away with David - there was a lovely new member of the household, courtesy of Cory coryblank.

Ladies and Gents.... Meet Puff the Chewable Dragon....



When I came home for lunch today - I took him out of his bag and set him on the kitchen floor. She sniffed around him and went back to her perch looking out the window.

When I got home this afternoon - Puff and Kate were sleeping on her blankey together. So - the successor of Gingerbread Man has arrived... Puff is made of the same "chew resistant" fabric that Ginger was made of. So the clock is set.... and Miss Kate already chewing away.

Yukon would have that shredded and buried in a heartbeat.

He will walk up and grab stuffed animals from Anna's bed like it's his own doggie buffet. She of course freaks out. The most hysterical moment was when he had a 3' tall stuffed Dora (the Explorer) in his mouth. Anna screamed "PAPA! He's eating DORA!"

I quickly remarked that he was in the mood for Mexican that night.

these are a new brand of dog toys with a special chew resistant fabric - - but I suspect with a st. bernard puppy - nothing is chew resistant. :)

We could never give Sophie stuffies. They usually lasted about 5 minutes. I wonder if DD will check these out and try them for her.

Miss Kate is unspeakably adorable, as usual.

Zoe has a particular fondness for disemboweling these things. She finds the fattest part, chews her way in there, then surrounds herself with piles of stuffing. Kind of disturbing, actually, in a cute canine sort of way.
