Sunday stuff...
Jul. 13th, 2008 02:40 pmBreakfast at the Cove with
daddycoug and
zlistbear with a bonus
rexbear and
abearius sighting!
Wonderful!
Rich and Coug are just sweet wonderful people... David and I enjoyed spending time with immensely. David and I are already trying to plan having them over the MuffinPenthousetm for dinner (and board games) soon. It really has been a long time since I've personally met a pair so down-to-earth and truly splatteringly in love with one another. Yay!3
In other news - David and I had an interesting night...
We tend to sleep velcroed -nwhy? I like a cool to cold bedroom - and he gets cold easily - so when he's here, he snuggles in real close. and on the plus side - we both find sleeping that way all intertwiny-ee - seriously romantic.
Well - last night about 3am - in my sleep I tried to roll over and he was sleeping on my arm and well my shoulder musculed got yanked - since my arm kept under him and my body tried to turn over. YOW! I seriously pulled a muscle in my left shoulder. Ouch-o-rama! No swelling or overthetop pain today - like perhaps I'd pulled my shoulder out or something but - manohman! Ouchers!
Four hour rehearsal this afternoon/evening - getting scenes nailed down. I forgot to mention that Leo - who went to the Deyoung with us yesterday is my fellow actor and "stage boyfriend" for Friends are Forever.
At the Deyoung yesterday - there were two glass "boats" of Chihuly's one of perfect round glass orbs and one of random loud glass pieces. both in old fashioned rowboats. Here's a very funny shot of Leo with a postcard from the show with the glass boat he thought was "terrible". When I told him I thought it was a great presentation of artistic opposites and a very 'balanced' way to curate the two pieces together - "floating" in reflective glass as if reflections of one another - he accepted it - and said thanks - - - then about a minute later he's like "Heeeeeeeeeeeey - you are in marketing. I'm not sure know that I buy that! - I think you are spinning for Chihuly. Can I trust any opinion? I don't KNOW you anymore." and skittered off into the gallery. (giggle)
