David is just the best boyfriend! I wrote him a very detailed email about what I thought we (as a couple) might get out of going to Folsom Fair for the day SUnday - bonding with our friends a level farther (we are going to see Mark Chester for a group photo I think) - and to explore the different shops and booths and see what we like. I didn't hear back from him - and called him at his office just now - and he said "Oh honey - I've just been busy - but what kind of boyfriend would I be if I wasn't DELIGHTED to be reminded of how much you want explore together the kinds of things that'll be at Folsom - and other places down the road." What a wonderful answer! I'm just all swooning and happy. This man seems to really 'get' me - and not who he thinks I should be or an alterna-muffin he'd rather be dating - but me. and that is something that just doesn't come along every day.
