It is so warm in San Francisco - OMG. 72 degrees at 815 at night in mid-November. Tomorrow morning at City Hall should be gorgeous - even nicer than gay pride back in June. The gym tonight was an oven - ugh. but - even the days where you start to go "fuck it - I won't go" are they days you really need to.

Apparently there is a "glowing blue building" campaign marking National Diabetes Day. While I don't get why making a building blue marks this particular day - it is a pretty cool look for the building. I guess it is supposed to represent the light of the blue circle used to celebrate national diabetes month - but gosh - all the electricity it costs to light these buildings? seems like a weird way to mark a day. Although - if they lit everything red like an AIDS ribbon - I'd probably say "cool" - so - well, Happy Diabetes Day everyone?!

I'm busily cleaning house - and putting fresh cotton sheets on the bed - - and getting ready for David arriving later on. Yay3 for the Weekend!

I know. I stumbled across that logo a few months back and thought WTF?

But, someone paid some graphic artist a tidy sum for that, and in the words of Andy Warhol, "Art is anything you can get away with."

Funny…you should say that….The Morrison Bridge in Portland is always “blue” at night, but for National Aids Awareness Day, Dec. 1st, they are making it red for a week.
