a jolly night out

The Adorabears met Brian, David and I for dinner tonight - and here were all are out for ice cream after. (l to r sfleatherbear, bjarvis, bibliocub, low_fat_muffin and my adorable dashing boyfriend Dave. Dave and I split a sundae with blood orange sorbet and chocolate ice cream sprinkled with carmalized graham crackers - - it was quite wonderful. Brian and Mike G. had brownie sundaes - and his Levyness had a split of caramel ice cream and roasted banana ice cream.

We had great laughs, talked much square dance drama (which sounded oddly like the teacher in Peanuts comics, wah wah wah square dance wahh wah wah wah drama), and had lots of laughs. It was lovely to help Brian celebrate his birthday. He is every bit as funny as Kent and Michael say he is. really! stop laughing! no - I mean it! We took a stroll after ice cream and put Brian on a train back to his Foster City peninsula hotel - and now we're home reading and relaxing. I love friends nights out like this one - it was wonderful!
