FFFF #9 - Brunch at the Cliffhouse

Today the FFFF group got together and met at The Cliff House for brunch. As brunches go it was tremendous - lots of variety - and few dishes I might try making sometime. (even scalloped potatoes!) There was a lovely side of butternut squash in a cinnamon vinaigrette and some other lovely dishes. and a chocolate mousse that was simply over the top delicious. All topped off with all the coffee and mimosas we could handle. It was incredible!

Today was our 9th outing since we started the group and well, these guys are just top-notch. It was great fun and every had a wonderful time. Paully picks next month - the running joke was "we haven't been to the new KFC/Taco Bell yet - variety AND international." Somehow I don't think that is our destination next month.....

We took a nice relaxing walk along the ocean afterwards - - and now David and I are packing up to head back down to Palo Alto for a snuggly rainy day in with us and the puppy.

We had lunch at the Cliff House with a couple of friends last year -- really nice food, and you can't beat the view!
