A Singing LJ Post

Inspired by
perlcub recent singing exploits on LJ - I figured I'd post a rehearsal take at a song I'm doing with some friends at SFGMC retreat this weekend. First off I hate how close the webcam is on my computer - but it's just for fun right? It's a favorite song - and a lot gets added when you are up with a microphone stand and people are encouraged to clap along. so take this as it is - me singing to my computer and thinking outloud what I might do in different sections. Also - the crowd will be somewhat inebriated - which always helps my reviews.
Am I great singer? no.
But I have a lot of fun with it. I'll be in my leathers and be a bit dolled up for my performance on Saturday. but anyways - I thought it was fun to film me rehearsing it. nothing ventured nothing gained right? :) right!
My back up ladies 'll be a pair of guys this weekend. :) it'll be a hoot. and I'm singing it at a particular chorus member with some slightly changed lyrics. (wink) but the song includes a short dance break - and also an instrumental section at the end I could use some theatrical advice with 'how do I fill this time?' :) so lets have fun shall we?
I had fun using the YouTube annotations to add comments as the video goes along....
the audio level is a little high - so you might check your volume settings before hitting play. :)
