but when I shop for bell peppers - I grab the ones that flex - but aren't soft. The hard ones have a more bitter taste. but perhaps they ate asparagus the night before or something.
I like your kitchen... You have everything in that little penthouse..and you make such good use of the available space ...its not as little as I originally thought from some of your earlier posts
Did you know I subscribe to your videos ..and I have sent a few to my daughter?
and did you also know how happy I am..that you are happy these days
very fun, and the peppers look great. I like the filling you made.
Now if you want to gasp, here's a story for you. My late partner Craig told me he loved stuffed peppers, so the first time I made them I got some nice sausage and ground beef and made a tasty stuffing like you did. He didn't like them! WHY??? Because I didn't user Rice-a-roni in the stuffing! I about had a stroke. Turns out his favorite stuffing for peppers was ground meat with Rice-a-roni, and just the beef flavor, not even the spanish rice one (I Made that mistake next time). When I finally got that right he loved them, and told everyone about my wonderful stuffed peppers.
You can take the man out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the man.....
You should check out the community bearfoodies. I am one of the moderator's and I think your video's would be a wonderful addition to the gang there. I don't know why I have thought of that already.....
Interesting and delicious twist on the recipe! I actually showed this to my Mom, who is 78 years old, she always made them with a tomato based sauce on top of the stove & then they fell apart! She said she will try this when she comes to visit me this Thursday (She lives in Denver). She hopes my departed Grandmother does not turn over in her grave when she does LOL
thats why I use chunk tomatoes - and not a sauce. Some folks add bread crumbs to absorb all that - but I think they tasted fine. :) its all a matter of taste, said the woman who kissed the cow. :)
