FFFF #10

Visiting the Noe Valley Italian restaurant Bocco - tonight was FFFF (Fine Food Feeding Frenzy) #10! There was lots of laughs and fantastic food - I had the skirt steak salad, David and Michael #3 had the Bouilliabase (sp?), Michael #2 and Leo had the salmon and Paul and Michael #1 had the Chantrelle Mushroom Sausage Risotto. It was all amazing!

I know this is a sort of weird question... but do you mind me asking what sort of prices you guys would pay for a main dish at a restaurant like that, with the obviously high quality of food?

Just so I know how to budget for my trip to the States! :-)

this restaurant - the average entree was around $20. One of the unstated goals of the FFFF is also to keep the tab per person in the 40-50 range. Last night we went a little crazy in the wine department so we blew that - but... :) these are hardly the cheapest eats there are plenty of cheaper restaurants while there are also much more expensive places. ;)

...and I always have to remember that what you guys consider an entree, we would call a main.

I presume that means your appetizers are OUR "entrees"... :-)
