A lovely evening of pasta with homemade alfredo sauce, a fruit salad - and a long long walk with Miss Kate. Followed by a cuddleathon on the bed watching a absolutely terrible scifi movie - Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. Silly, badly-acted but with some spiffy affects. and after a glass or two of merlot - its time to take Miss Kate out for walkies and hit the hay.

Ironically, my younger daughter called to let me know that the other event planner was let go, even though she had seniority over my daughter. This is good news/bad news because now, like you, my daughter is going to have to cover ALL of the events since she's the ONLY event planner/manager on staff now. She forsees months of being over worked. Of course the good news is, she still has a job and obviously her bosses feel she's capable of handling it.
