I raised the most money in the small restaurant category for DINE OUT FOR LIFE in San Francisco!

The average raffle total for each restaurant came out to be about $582.00. and my restaurant folks - at SAUCE SAN FRANCISCO - helped me raise $1,480.00!! THAT totally rocks my world!

Other winners included:

Medium Restaurant Category (51-90 seats): Chip McAllister & Sister Dina Might at Catch Seafood (on Market near Castro) with $2,692.00 in donations! Chip also raised an additional $500.00 online for a grand total of $3,192.00.
Large Restaurant Category (More than 90 seats): Steve Abbott, Jim Stephens, Bill Dickey, and Matthew Huyck - Grand Café (in the Theater District) with $2,210.00 in donations! They also raised an additional $275 online for a grand total of $2,485.00.

The raffle alone raised over $67,000 and STOP AIDS PROJECT is still waiting for a few more restaurants and last minute envelopes! That along with the sponsorship total of $34,000 brings the total to over $101,000. And that's before any of the restaurants have been factored in. (Restaurants signed up gave 25% of the evening’s tab at each restaurant to STOP AIDS – so imagine how big this number will be once that is all factored in)

For everyone that came out and dined out last Thursday – many of you choosing to come by my restaurant…… CONGRATULATIONS! Your support particularly in these tough economic times really means a great deal for STOP AIDS PROJECT, and to me personally!
