well - I'm back from piano lessons - and well - LET THE STRUGGLE BEGIN! G position really threw me for a loop tonight. The 6 year old before me and I are at the same place in the same book and had a very funny conversation about "the Indian Song" - which Alika filmed me playing tonight. Yikes! Jacob thinks the piano is hard - and he also is ALL over the place energy wise (that kid is a HANDFUL!) -- Alita (my teacher) and I beat on songs in G position all night long. The good news is that the guy that shows up AFTER me - is six months ahead of me and is learning Fur Elise and plays beautifully.... so I can't wait for fall. :) So lots of homework ahead of me learning bass clef and learning "g position" (my neighbors are just going to ADORE these songs!)
