Mom headed back on her train this evening after a three day visit. It was all the way around lovely - from watching her spar with Dave over cardgames to doing the cooking show together to spending the day today walking Filoli with Jeff and Shaun - I'm simply beside myself with happiness. Her and Dave got along perfectly, Miss Kate was a perfect girl - and Mom and I had some great talks and opportunities to connect about everything from my spiritual practice to Star Trek. Simply a tremendous, tremendous visit!
and I owe an awful lot to Dave - who let Mom in completely - and we laughed and told stories... it was a tremendous thing to watch the two of them clearly enjoy each other's company so much.
the best boyfriend in the entire universe!
